Journey back to Malaysia (Part 9)

Soon after dad pick us from airport, we go to eat at Foh Sang straight away before going back home.

This is the Chinese New Year (CNY) cake, what we called "Lin Gou".

And this is "Ngau Si Dui: (literally means bull's shit). Haha... Funny? It's just the nick name that we called as it looks like bull's shit.

Of course won't missed out this, my favourite, Penang Fried Kuew Teau. Yum yum... =P

Me and dad went to church on one of the Sundays. The rest of the family member? Sis. Wynelle is sick and mom have to look after her at home. And Sis. Simone? Can't wake up lohh... Aiyo!

There's one day where I had to drive Sis. Simone for body check-up around noon time and waited for nearly and hour but still not her turn yet. The receptionist told us, it might be another half an hour to an hour wait before her turn. Since we starved to death ('cause non of us actually have anyfood before we came out), we just go to the nearby famous old coffe shop to eat bruch.

Marie France just open another branch at One Borneo (1Borneo). And I got one free cold wrap for my birthday from Marie France. So, out of curiousity I have my free cold wrap done at 1Borneo Marie France. They also gave me this hand wax (I think so!?) I took it out slowly , in order not to break it. Why? Of course u know why! To take photo and put it in my blog loh! Haha...

Not bad ah? Look! They give you a small room with a sofa, towel, slippers, and a cloth.

So refreshing after the cold wrap. Hence, walk around 1Borneo for a bit before meeting up my cousins for dinner.

The next night, dad bring us to eat at Hung Gam Bou Restaurant. Just dad, me and Sis. Simone. So, we only order 2 dishes. Hrrmm.... Lemon chicken. (Doesn't this look and taste a lot better than those in Aust.? Sure it does).

The other dish is Kangkung Belacan. Slurrpp, slurrpp...

On the day that me and Sis. Simone are going to fly to KL, dad bring us to go eat "Sang Yuk Min" (Pork noodles) at Lintas for brunch. So, tassstttyy....

Just before we go back and take our luggage and head to the airport, we go to City Mall. Just to buy another pair of glasses. Look! The blue one that I'm wearing already. Hehe... On the way out, there was some event and I just took a photo with this teddy or koala or what so ever...

Journey back to Malaysia (Part 8)

*As this is a 3 weeks trip, it had to be shorten as it took me ages just to finish this trip blogging and missed out or delay the recent blog.

Trip back to my hometown, Sandakan, with Sis. Simone.

Just arrived KKIA and ready to check-in.

Here we are at Sandakan Airport. Usually my 3rd uncle will come and pick us up, but as I mentioned in my previous blog, my 3rd uncle had just pass away, therefore my 2nd uncle come and pick us at the airport. Then, he dropped us at his house.

When arrived at my 2nd uncle's home, my 2nd uncle's wife gave us a lot of snacks. And this is one of my favorites. Milk biscuit. I prefer the one with white chocolate.

These are the food that my 3rd uncle prepared for this year re-union dinner but unfortunately he just pass away on a day before the re-union dinner. Therefore, the food are save until we came back. This is mushroom chicken.

And this is seafood rolls. Sluurpp, sluurrpp... :P

This is chicken, crab, corn soup.

And this is fried king prawn.

This is the chicken that my 2nd uncle brought. Most of the CNY re-union dinner, my 3rd uncle will cook a lot of food and my 2nd uncle will bring this chicken to add on.

This is the sweet and sour pork with lychee and onion. Yum yum!!!

This is my 'lil auntie's younger daughter, Brenda.

The next morning before we head back to KK, my 'lil auntie bring us to the market for breakfast. We had dried beef noodles and some economy fried noodles. Me and Sis. Simone with our white tea.

After that my 'lil auntie sent us to the town and we shop for a while. Then , my 3rd auntie, Sis. Simone and I caught a bus back home. Here's the bus tickets.

My 2nd uncle then sent us to the airport. Me and Sis. Simone.

My cousins wanted to sent us off as well as they only see us once in few years. So, as soon as auntie pick them up from school, they rush here all the way just to sent us off. Unfortunately, one of the cousin had an extra class that day and he was quite upset as both of his brother can come and sent us off while he was left behind for the extra class. :(

Here we are back to KK again.

Wake up early today and go 'Yum Cha' with family at Foo Phing Restaurant.

Hot Horlicks.

Rice noodle rolls (Chu Cheong Fun) and Chicken Porridge.

BBQ Pork Bun (Char Siu Bau)

Chicken Feet (Fung Zhau/Gei Giok), Pork Ribs (Pai Guat), Beef Balls (Ngau Yuk Yuen), and Fish Ball (Yu Dan).

Dim Sim (Siu Mai), Snow Peas Dim Sim (Dau Miu Gau), and Century Egg with Prawn Dim Sim (Pei Dan Ha Gau)

Total bill is RM70.60. Not too expensive for 5 ppl. In Australia, this price might only enough for 2 ppl to go Yum Cha. Haha... =D Therefore, this Yum Cha is me and Sis. Simone's treat as well.

Tonight dinner we are going to order take away. I ordered Pork Chop Rice (Gu Lou Yuk Fan).
