Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds, in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people.

More than ten years in the making, Avatar marks Cameron's return to feature directing since helming 1997's Titanic, the highest grossing film of all time and winner of eleven Oscars?including Best Picture.

WETA Digital, renowned for its work in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and King Kong, will incorporate new intuitive CGI technologies to transform the environments and characters into photorealistic 3D imagery that will transport the audience into the alien world rich with imaginative vistas, creatures and characters. --© 20th Century Fox

Happy New Year 2010!!!

Dear readers,

First of all, I would like to wish you all a Happy 2010!!!

A new year, a new beginning...

Over the months (probably years?? Lol...) that since I started this blog, I've been very proud that this blog is still surviving (as there's a lot of times I'm thinking to give up... >.<)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who had directly or indirectly contributed and show their support. I hope that in this year to come, this blog will not only act as a passing time reading but also a guide in life (wheather it would be a food guide, or a movie guide).

Comments and criticism are all welcome as these are necessary for bringing a better blog for everyone.

For those readers out there, 'Happy reading!!!'. And bloggers, 'Happy blogging!!!'

Yours always,
Pingky Fairy.

Melbourne Trip (Part 4)

17.12.09

The next day, me and Simone are moving to our cousin's home as it's more convenient for us to get to the Nuffnang "Blue Christmas" at Terra Rossa which is at Melbourne CBD. Unfortunately, while we were moving to our cousin's home (with our luggage and laptop, of course!!!), it started to rain like 'cats and dogs'. In addition to that, we got down 1 tram stop too far and had to walk all the way back. By the time we arrived at my cousin's home, we are all 'wash up'. Hahaha... Therefore, we went for a warm shower straight away and get ready for the Nuffnang "Blue Chrismas".

These are the "blue blue" set that I'm going to where for the "blue blue Christmas". ^.^

This is me with my "blue blue" glasses and my "blue blue" shirt at Terra Rossa.

Simone with her "blue blue" dress...

We know quite a lot of bloggers through this "Blue Christmas" event. Not only did we know a lot of other bloggers out there (such as Super Kawaii Mama, Nicole, Akisa, and a lot more) but also exchanging our experience and knowledge as a blogger.

And this is Akisa from http://www.beautyswatch.com/

Soon after the party, me and Simone decided to go to "Chill on Ice Lounge". We choose the 'deluxe adult entry package' for AUD$40 each which includes:

•Entry to the Ice Lounge
•Rental of jackets, gloves and ugg boots
•Complimentary deluxe cocktail served in an ice glass
•Complementary Ice Shot – served through Ice Luge or in an ice glass

Mmm... This is my cocktail!!!

Ermmm... An ice dino???
