Tasmania Trip (Part 3)

10.08.09

The next day, after breakfast we planned to go to Cadbury Factory. It took about 30-35 min. drive.

This is Cadbury Factory taken from it's car park. Look!!! How massive it is!!!

Me and the "Caramello Koala".

L-R: Regan, Michael, Nicole, and Yvonne (me) with Freddo.

This is the Chocolate Treasure Chest.
Entrance fee is $7. And we get one of this chocolate each.

Photo of Nicole and Michael while inside the presentation room waiting for the factory tour presentation.

This is "Twist Wrapping Machine". This Old Rose Foregrove IST Twist Wrapping Machine presents chocolates to a rotating plate as wrapping material is fed from a reel and cut to length.

And this is "Open Temperer". Tempering is a process by which liquid chocolate (normally store at 40'C ) is cooled just below 30'C. This promotes the formation of small fat crystals, which give the chocolate a glossy appearance when it sets. The chocolate is loaded into the temperer in batches, and cooling water passes through the water jacket as the stirrer mixes the chocolate to ensure even temperature. When the chocolate reaches 30'C, it is transferred to a moulding plant, deposited into moulds and then cooled until solid.

Me in the car. Pretty bored. So, just took some photos of myself. Lol... ^.^

After the Cadbury Factory visit, we went to shop for food at the nearby Woolworth. Look, how weird it is to have a bench inside Woolworth!!! Good customer service? So, that customer that shop there can take a rest before continue their shopping. Hahaha...

We then head straight home as it's around 6-ish and no more places that we can go. >.<>

L-R: Michael, Nicole, Yvonne (me), and Regan at the loft.

This is funny!!! We all pretend to be asleep. ZZZzzz...

Then, we all pretend to be happy and excited. Hehehe...

And then, sad faces. Huhuhu...

These were the chocolates that we bought at Cadbury Factory. We spend around $20 each and I got the most Kgs. However, it seems like I have the least. Lol... ^.*

These were the alcohol that we bought for the next night. ^.*

L-R: Regan, Yvonne (me), Nicole, and Michael.

And this is someone's (name have to be anonymous in order to avoid making him feel embarass) boxer. ^.* Frog boxer? Will the frog turn into prince? Lol...

Me at the loft.

Me at the loft with the queen size bed. ^.^

L-R: Michael, Nicole, Yvonne (me), Regan.
Look at that lovely couple there!!!

We then had KFC for dinner. This is my All Star box.

This is Regan's.

And this is Michael and Nicole's.

After dinner, we watched couple of movies before going to bed. Time for bed time now... ZZZzzz...

So stay tune...

Tasmania Trip (Part 2)

09.08.09

After picking up the luggage, we tried to find "Budget" (the car rental company that we booked our car). When we show them the reservation number, I asked the receptionist what car do we have. I was told Nissan Tilda which is a small car. Lucky I told her about the upgrade that we suppose to have because she said it wasn't written in the computer. she then upgrade the car to internediate size. However, it is still Nissan but I forgot which model it was. She then told us to have a sit while she do the upgrade. It tooks about 10-15 min.

... ... ... Cool!!! Car's ready at last. We all jump in the car and have Nicole's GPS set and ready to go. I was doing the driving and Nicole was the navigator. Lol... ^.^ So, we head to the cottage that we already booked. Below are some photos of the cottage that we are staying for our whole trip at Tasmania. For more information, go to this link: http://www.stayz.com.au/30261.

This is a queen size bed downstairs. There is also a sofa bed that can folds out into another bed. And up in the loft where there are fabulous views is another queen bed and setting.

Here is the kitchen area and a stair up to the loft. And in this photo are Michael and Regan.

This is another side of of the queen size bed downstair.

This is me up at the loft. It's easy to climb up but scary to get down. Hahaha... =P

After all the luggage were moved in the cottage and the photos session. We were ready to head off to Launceston. It tooks about 2.5 hours drive from Hobart.

Destination: Launceston.

Driver: Nicole.

Navigator: Michael.

On the long journey there, I had no idea what was aroud or what had happen as I was too tired and felt asleep. (Only found out that when we were back to Adelade that Nicole was actually keeping an eye on me and Regan to see if there's something happening. Lol... =D)

As soon as we arrived, we went upstairs to check out their casino. It was really small. I think it only has about 10 tables and only half of it were open that day. And the only games that they have are blackjacks, roulette and rapid roulette. Regan changed $50 and won about $80 at rapid roulette.

So, we went downstair and had our dinner at the cafeteria before heading back up to play again. I have a video clip which I wanted to upload that I took during the dinner. Unfortunately, after few tries still can't get it up load. Therefore, might have to skip the video part.

Nicole and Michael enjoyed their dinner.

On the way out. Though might just take some photos so that I can blog with.

This is a wishing well just near the entrance.

Launceston: Country Club Tasmania.

Another view of the Country Club.

This is the car that we rented.
We started to drive back to Hobart around 10pm.

Destination: Hobart.

Driver: Regan.

Navigator: Yvonne (me).

Tried to take some photos as it was quite and bored. Nicole and Michael were asleep at the back. Unfortunately, Regan just realized. As usual, hands up and face covered. IIIssshh... @>@.

It was really foggy. Hard to see the way.
Here they are!!! Nicole just woke up and wanted a photo shot. Michael was just half awake.

We arrived at Hobart around 12:30am. Everyone were really tired and exhausted. I took a shower and then we watched a movie before heading to bed. Have to get our battery fully charged to prepare for the next day.

While we head to bed, stay tune...

Tasmania Trip (Part 1)

09.08.09

Woke up about 8.15am and get ready as Nicole is coming to pick us up around 9am. It's not the first time I get on the plane but don't know why I just feel as excited. Me and Nicole were doing the count down since 2 days ago (48 hours), while we were working. Lol... ^.^

Nicole arrived here nearly 9am and keep beeping. I think she was just as excited as me. After picking both me and Regan, we headed to Nicole's house. As we arrived, her dad already that waiting. We had to sort some luggage stuff and weight it.

After check-in, we went to have brunch at Hungry Jack.

Photo taken while we were on the Q.

I heard Nicole called me and I unplugged my mp3 earphone and *snap*. Got tricked!!! >.<

Regan was too shy in front of the camera. Lol...

Micheal was a bit scared after all the plane crash movies that Nicole made him watch plus it's his first time in the plane.

Nicole was soooo thirsty after having to calm Michael down. Lol... :D Perhaps a bottle of water is not enough.

The flight took nearly 2 hours and we arrived around 2.25pm local time. Just when we get off the plane and walking in the airport, Michael drops his chapstick. As Regan was walking just behind Michael and not noticing that it was his chapstick, he accidentally kicked on it and it was broken. Should took the photo of it but it was raining and we hurried in to the airport. Nicole said we should buried Michael's chapstick as it dies horribly. She makes fun of Michael's chapstick for hours and hours. She even told Michael's sister about it. Lol...

Well, forget about the chapstick thingy. We then head to pick up our luggage.

Here we are!!! At Hobart International Airport. Waiting for our luggage.

There it is!!! Nicole's 'wet wet' bag. Lol... Might be because of the rain. It rains since we depart from Adelaide even until Hobart. >.<

Here are Michael, Nicole, and Regan.
Nicole: "What's up, vanila-face!!!

And here I am! ^.^

Stay tune and more to come...
