Journey to Singapore

Go to Singapore for 2 days only to visit some fo the friends there.

Just arrived at Singapore Changi Airport. Tried to check e-mail as these booth offer free internet for 15 min. After that only call Kin from the pay phone inside the airport.

Then, Kin bring me and Sis. Simone to meet up with another brother before going for dinner. On the way, he buy some squidball and prawn ball for us to try. Something new!?

After a light dinner, we took a group photo before splitting to our own way as Kin have to report back to her gf and get ready for next day trip back to Malaysia, whereas, another brother have to head home (u know, married man). Then, Ang Jin Leong (AJL) came and meet us there.

After the splitting, AJL bring me and Sis. Simone to meet up with their ex-schoolmates which are working at Singapore already. Since me and Sis. Simone already had a light dinner, we are going to share again this time to avoid having a really full stomach.

The next day, we go to Juntion 8 and meet up with Lay Kuan as AJL have to attend a seminar and only able to catch up back with us at the afternoon. So, we find a place to have lunch and then go for shopping. Look! All of us manage to get something. Actually, all of these are shoes. Me and Sis. Simone buy 3 pairs of shoes each and Lay Kuan only buy 2 pairs. It's really good bargain. S$8 per shoes. ^.^ Around 2:30pm, LayKuan have to leave for her Church worship team practise.

Me and Sis. Simone hang around the shopping center while waiting AJL to finish work at meet us there. He arrived around 4pm. And bring us to try some popular 'siu lung bau'.

Around 6:30pm, we (me, sis. and AJL) went to meet up with another friends of mine (Shawn and Clarence). And we go to Seoul Garden to eat korean buffet. Slurppp, sslluurpp... =P

Around 10pm, AJL's ex-college mate, William, join us for a movie at first but the movie that we wanted to watch is quite late and, therefore, we cancel the plan and just go for a drink and chit chatting instead. Until about 12am, we meet up with Sis. Simone's friend, Chuen Hwa just before William left. From L-R: Sis. SImone, William, AJL, and me.

The next day, just before we head to the airport, I still manage to squeeze in another appointment with my ex-primary to scondary school mate, Vincent. We go to 'yum cha' together with AJL as well. Me with some pudding in a special green smoky thingy.

After the 'yum cha', we went in few shop just on the way out. Hence, we are running a bit late. Therefore, instead of catching a MRT to the airport we have to catch a taxi. AJL paid for the taxi. We wanted to paid him back as he spend quite a lot for us not only his money but time bring us around, but he refused. Anyway, thanks a lot AJL.

Journey back to Malaysia (Part 10)

Trip to Genting with Sis. Simone, Kelly, cousin (Alan) and his friends.

We catch a cab to the bus station from Melia Hotel where we stay.

Just board the bus and we're ready to go!

The bus only drive half way up to Genting, where we need to transit to Skyline cable car to get us all the way to Genting. Our cable car number is 29. ^.^

As soon as we arrived at the entrance, we saw this board which promotes the show that is on at the moment. Seems fun. We just go put the head there and 1,2,3, smile! *Snap, snap*

This is how small the cupboard in the hotel apartment that we are staying. Inspite of that, we actually got a really good deal on the room price as they are

having a CNY room promotion. It's only RM38.88 per room.

Then, we head to the 3D movie. The movie on for that day is "The Jett and Jin - Don't Miss the School Bus."

We then go to some slow ride.

On the way to another indoor game, we pass by some food stall and see this. Thought is worth a snap as it looks so real where it actually only a display outside the food stall.

Here we are on the train ride. I get the driver seat. And for the whole round trip of the train, I keep ringing the train's bell like a 3 years old kid or a crazy young adult. Haha...

Isn't this lady statue suppose to stand proud high in the U.S.? How come she got a bike and ride all the way here to Genting? What the hell is she doing here?

Then, we went for a boat ride. Where you will pass by an area that you can toss a coin and make a wish. (P.S.: For those who are really broke and in desperate of money, you can actually find there are a lot of coins in the water. Hahaha... =P).

After the boat ride, we went pass a place where they are having promotion of things from China including taking photos with ancient chinese customes. RM40 per person and RM60 for 2 person per photo. But I manage to ask for RM50 for 2 person as it just past midnight and it's my birthday. Hehehe... ^.*

The last indoor game that we played before ending our indoor game day - roller coaster. Then head back to our hotel room and have a shower before going to casino. Ngek ngek ngek... *No more laughing after losing 500 bucks and lost my sleep as well. Only sleep for 3 hours that day.*

Next day, we go to eat our complimentary breakfast. *10 years never change (I mean the food here)* Remember last 2-3 years ago, when I came here and had exactly the same kind of M'sia buffet breakfast. @.@

After breakkies, everyone go to the outdoor theme park except me and Sis. Simone 'cause there is something exciting await us. ^.^

Guess what?

We are going for the Sky Venture.

Cool! 10 min. of class training (on how to balance your body, some basic sign language, etc.) and 5 min. of the flying. It only cost about RM38 per person who stay in the Genting hotel (or else you have to pay RM58) including all the necessary cloth and accesories to fly. Recorded DVD will cost you extra RM19.
