Handorf Trip (Part 2)

Sorry for the delay! Been really busy at work and was sick as well.

We reached Handorf after about an hour drive. The first shop we went was just across the street on where we parked our car. Didn't remember (actually didn't even notice... hehehe... =P) the name of the shop as it didn't came through my mind that I will write this trip in my blog until I was browsing in the shop. When the idea of putting this trip in my blog came through my mind, I got my camera out and started to snap photos everywhere. Below are some photos that I took in that first shop that we went into.

Handorf Trip (Part 1)

Saturday night at work, Winnie asked me if I want to join her, Regan and her housemates to go to Handorf the next day which is Sunday when 3 of us have off day. I said I will join her only if I can wake up. Then, Regan called me the next day around 1pm and asked if I'm going. I told him not sure as I'm still sleeping. He said his dad used the car already. Therefore, he need a lift from me. I told him the other day where I actually felt asleep at the red traffic light as I was exhausted. Distance to handorf is not short though. So, I don't want to risk it. He said if I'm not going he might as well not go. While talking halfway on phone, he told me that his dad is back and said if I don't want to drive he can actually drive an pick me up. I said I'll call him back in 5 min. After pondering, I decided to go as "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". So, there we go heading to Handorf. =============) Stay tune for the Handorf Trip (Part 2)

Mikaela's multi purpose purse!

When finish work this morning, i went to 'Strath' (it's a pub opposite my work place where most of us hang around for socializing after work) to meet up with Mikaela (my colleague/friend). I saw her black nice little purse and told her it's beautiful purse. She then open up her purse to show me. Not only the money can be out inside. There are heaps of cards inside as well. After that she opened the small zip in the middle where I thought is a coin's pocket. You know what she actually pulled out?


Unbelievable! It's her mobile phone. See that in the photo? How small and slim it is? So, with her permission I actually took the photos. Haha... =D

First shift dealing baccarat and casino war!

Last night shift was quite excited as I got baccarat and casino war in my swing. As you know I just did the training a day before for baccarat and casino war training was like 3 weeks ago (so, forgot most of the things as didn't get to deal at all after the training for 3 weeks.).

However, I was doing alright in both of the game. In baccarat, just keep forgetting that Banker pays half whenever Banker wins on '6'. I'll work hard on that. It's fun dealing new games. Hope that I would get 2 baccarat table in my swing tonight.

BF or BFF?

Gotcha with the title, don't I? Haha... =D

As usual, I sign in my msn as soon as I got home. Least as I expected, I was suddenly greet by my BF (Best Friend not Boy Friend; don't get me wrong! But did it purposely! Ngek ngek ngek... ; J), John in MSN. Since he is using the Apple computer, we are not able to video talk even though both of us have web cam. He told me that perhaps it will work in the Yahoo Messenger. I had to download the software 'cause I didn't have it. After all the hassle, at last we can see each other with the web cam. We talked for ages... You know, old old friend! Refreshing our memories. Counting the days and years that we had actually travel down the path of friendships. Without realizing, it's already 10 years. He actually told me (or should I say 'confess') something (have to get his consent before I can actually say what is that 'something'. Hehe... =P) which I found it's quite sweet of him to let me know. And I want him to know deep in my heart, I do really appreciate that!

Spittoon?

I saw this internal memo few nights ago and what really caught my attention was the word 'SPITTOON'. It's kind of like 'cartoon' or 'looney toon'. Haha... =D

Instead it's actually a shame to see this kind of memo sticking up. What is more to be shame of is nowadays there are still these kind unhygienic people spitting anywhere they think is convenient to them.

In case the memo posted is not clear enough, I'll re-write it again. It goes like this:

" The HR department has been made aware that some team members are using the sink as a spittoon. This practice is unhygienic and must cease immediately.



The Pit Stop sink is only to be used for washing dishes. Team members that feel the need to spit must do this in the appropriate area of the staff bathrooms.

It is important for us to work together to ensure the kitchen and dining areas are as hygienic as possible. Ensuring spitting only occurs in bathroom sinks and toilets is a way towards this.

Thank you."

Baccarat Training

I woke up this morning feeling tired but excited as I'm going to learn new table game today.

Without a clue where the training is held, I decided to go straight to the scheduling office to ask. On the way, I met the other colleague who was going to the baccarat training as well and she told me the training will be taking place in Grange Room. Therefore, I went to change straight away.

Thought that I might get some photos during the training to put in here. Unfortunately, no phones or cameras are allowed in Grange Room (Btw, Grange Room is the VIP room in the casino). So, sorry guys! No photos.

After whole day of learning and practising, we are then send to the floor two by two to deal 15 minutes. It's not as hard as I thought. Anyway, thanks to our trainer (Linda)!! *yyyyeeeeaaahhhhh*

It was a tiring but enjoyable day!

Absent-minded

OMG! I thought tomorrow I'm still working night shift as normal. While driving to work, i just keep thinking that tomorrow first thing I'll do when I wake is blogging. Hehehe... =P

Luckily, since I was on a 'dead table' just now, my mind keep wandering and suddenly remember that I'll be having my new table game's skill training tommorrow. And it's 14:00 (which is 2pm).

Gosh! How can I be so absent-minded nowadays? >.<

In life, we always force to choose...

Therefore, there is always what we call in Economic "OPPORTUNITY COSTS".

Why? Why do we have to choose one and let go the other?

But then why can't we choose our ancesstor, grandparents, parents, siblings or relatives?

I'm not complaining about my family 'cause I'm glad and really fortunate to have my family. =P

I just saw my sis.'s (Wynelle) blog. She blogged until 3am... You know what, I blogged until 6am. When she said good night to me through MSN, I was still busy blogging. I was very very very tired already. But still, gotta write at least 1-2 more blog before I will aactually let my body rest and my eyes shut. Crazy? Terrible? Out of my mind? YES!!! That's blogging! When my sis. first told me I don't believe it. I said you must be crazy... How can you get addicted that much? Blogging only mah! Well, well! Yes, now is my turn. It's like DRUGS! Days without Mama again?

Time flies! As if mom just arrived yesterday... The day before yesterday (which is Monday) I had to wake up early around 11am to get ready to send mom to airport. Yeah, yeah... i know what you are going to say. '11am? Early? You must be kidding me?' And NO! I'm not kidding 'cause I finished work and got home around 5am. YES...5am. So, 11am would be early as I only got like less than 5 hours sleep. Then, getting ready and head out around 12pm. Thought that we are running late, the plan to have Viet food were then change to have fast food. Therefore, we head to the KFC and Hungry Jack near Mawson Lake. After getting myself a snack box at KFC, I then bought a Grilled Chicken Value Meal for dad and a twin Whopper for mom to bring on her journey back to Malaysia as she had a lot transit. From there, we headed to Sefton Plaza. Told mom that I gotta go to Coles to buy the salt and vinegar's chips for Woon tetek as I had promised. We then head to airport. I dropped mom down at the departure entrance first so that she can have enough time to check-in; while i find a place to park my car. My car was park quite dar. Therefore, dad and I had to walk quite a distance before arrived at the airport to meet mom. Mom looks a bit relieve as she told us that the she was worried when she waited for quite a while and didn't see us yet while the boarding time is less than 5 minutes. Accompanying her till the boarding gate. After about 10-15 minutes in the boarding lobby, we heard the announcement for passenger to get on board. Seeing mom walked through the departure gate. My heart's get heavier. Without realizing it, my eyes get watery. OMG! Just as when I was 10 years old, first time sending off dad at the airport when he went outstation for work. Feeling a bit embarassed, just turn to dad and said ' I don't know why but I just don't have control on the pipe in my eyes.' And dad just laughed. While I'm thinking 'Now, have to get back to days without Mama again.' T.T

Casino War

Casino War is a table game that had just been introduced at 12.11.2008. I was trained like 2-3 weeks before the launching of this game. Therefore, can't remember clearly the whole process of dealing. What I remember clearly was on the 12.11.2008, as i got back to work as usual; walked in to the locker room to get change, I saw few of my colleague were wearing Casino War T-shirt.

Spare Uniform's Form

So, I went to the wardrobe to ask for one. After filled out those spare uniform issue's form, i happily get changed into the new uniform. It is so comfortable that I get addicted to it. Since that day, I kept wearing this Casino War T-shirt whenever i get to work. Guess what? My supervisors and colleagues asked my weather I had started dealing Casino War already or not yet. My answer...? Of course not yet. Hahaha... Coz didn't get into that swing yet. Then, they asked my why i was wearing the uniform. Ngek ngek ngek... Know what i answer them? 'Coz this is sooooo comfortable! That's why i rather wear this uniform. Feels like wearing pyjamas. The only different is we can't sleep while wearing it. Hahaha... ;P'
